Aged and Disability Advocacy

Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia), formerly known as Queensland Aged and Disability Advocacy Inc (QADA), is a not-for-profit, independent, community-based advocacy and education service, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and State governments. ADA Australia assists older people and people with disabilities to understand and exercise their rights and responsibilities, as well as resolve their aged care and community care issues (in both home and residential aged care settings), through free and confidential information, education and client directed advocacy support. ADA Australia also provides a guardianship advocacy service to support adults whose capacity is in question with guardianship and administration matters, including support before the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).

DISCO is a specialist, not-for-profit, youth agency operating across South West Queensland with two offices based in Toowoomba and an office in Dalby. Flexi School

Toowoomba Flexi School (Flexi), an annex of Centenary Heights High School, is a responsive learning environment providing relevant educational opportunities and breaking the cycle of disengagement. PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Centre)

Recreation, Fitness and Activities and school aged care.
They provide before and after school care, as well as vacation care for school aged children.
“Braking the Cycle” program. This is for young people aged 16-25 who need assistance gaining the 100 log book hours in order to get their license, but lack the availability of a registered vehicle or licensed driver to teach them.

United Synergies Toowoomba(Youth at Risk Initiative)

CPL (Formerly Cerebral Palsy League)

This Toowoomba service offers Therapy and Health Services, Home Support and Respite, Lifeskills and Creative Arts program, Community Based Mediation Service provided morning and evening for mental health and dementia, (mobile service) , and Support in the Community. CPL is a non-profit organisation that provides vital support and services to more than 8’000 children and adults in Queensland and Northern NSW.
